Save from forgetting...
Although the release of big and rare birds of prey is a special moment for us, we mustn’t forget that our work is also to treat more common animals. Annually we treat about 400 representatives of almost 80 species. Our small charges often require more devotion of time and means than their bigger predator companions. We treat each case seriously and a failure in treatment is our personal failure. The pigeon, the kestrel, the swift, the swallow, the tit and other smaller, common birds flew away unnoticed – without a shutter shot. Not always there is a good light for taking photos, appropriate time, good weather conditions or simply the equipment fails. If we already manage to do a few shots we try to show the photos to as many people as possible in order to inspire them to help injured animals the same way we were inspired. We try to capture and save from forgetting the best moments of our work.
